Most people do not know that not getting sick animals veterinary treatment is neglect and cruelty under the new Animal Welfare law. These two little male kittens were brought in by their owner, they are half the weight they should be, full of fleas, half the size, extremely thin, discharge from their eyes and nose and the other end as well. We took them in to the veterinary hospital immediately where they were given antibiotic injections, flea spray, eye drops and antibiotic tablets. The vet is not sure they will survive. If people cannot afford veterinary treatment because they are on benefits, there are schemes run by the PDSA and the RSPCA to help with necessary veterinary treatment.
We have named the kittens Micky and Monty.
