Abandoned Kittens

This little black and white male kitten is one of four that were abandoned in a laundry basket in a block of flats in Flint.
They all had fur missing on both sides of their heads and necks.
We took them into the vets for examination and they thought it was some kind of skin condition, so we gave them a flea treatment shampoo, then a fungal treatment shampoo.
They were then wormed and flea treated.
After a week, the fur was growing back again and one of the volunteers said that it looked like they had been shaved, and so it proved to
be. All four kittens had been shaved and given a Mohican haircut. Two had their whiskers cut to different lengths as well.
Their fur has now almost completely grown back, and they have had their first inoculations and are ready for homing.
This was a very cruel thing to happen to these kittens, shaving them and then abandoning them. There is no excuse for this behaviour.
